Camaro 92 air conditioner problems, When i turn on the air conditioner my car like tries to turn of and i have to accelerate it so it don't go off also i notice that the speedometer starts like going up and down when I'm using the air can someone help me here?

It sounds like you are having an issue with the Idle valve, there is an actuator that will slightly raise the RPMs of the engine when the air is on at Idle, sounds like its not doing it, the car is lugging from the load of the compressor, causing it to want to die, and that could possibly be causing your instruments to be having a fit. I would look at that first. hope this helps
