Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - BB four-bolts main caps
hey guys, how much is a big block four-bolt? something like this 14015445

Just for the block? We had bought a running engine for $700 a couple of years ago. I was a 2 bolt thou. That casting # is 78-90 2 or 4 bolt. you need to get the eng9ne ID # off of the deck on the right front to tellus more.

ok sir, thank you for the tips, i just want to know more or less price, im about to sell it, it's only block and it is 4 bolt caps.

Just know that 2 bolts can handle just about anything a street strip car will see power wise. 4 bolts usually go for 150-200 more around me FWIW

350 for 2 bolts and 500 plus for 4 bolts in Ohio. I have a 4 bolt 445 block checked and cleaned if anyone is interested.
