My poor V :( need some help
Sunday night around 8 pm I was driving home from work. I was literally a block away from my house. Literally it was flooding and I had my wipers on the highest setting possible and I still couldn't see my hood and they weren't able to keep up. Another big factor in this was the tires being basically bald. I had ordered new tires which
ofcourse showed up the next day. Just my luck. Anyways I was just cruising insecond piutting around because I had
just drove thru a huge puddle
that went well up to the bottom of my doors. Continuing on, I was out of the big puddle and the last thing I really remember was shifting from 2nd to 3rd and cometely hydroplaned. I ended up hitting a mail box on the drivers side. Thank god for side curtain airbags because they literally saved my life. I would definitely say that the brick won. I'm not sure if they'll total the car or not the frame doesn't appear to be bent. The rockers took the majority of the impact. I looked under thr car and if seems like my theory is correct. But on the other side of that the A pillar on the outside is bent and the roof is bent to the sunroof. I'm not sure if she's totaled but I am really really praying that it isn't. Do any members have a collison center or someone that could do fhe work in the DFW area? I plan on repainting the car in the process. Either a matte white, gun metal grey, or a matte blue. The guy that had the car before me took horrible car of the paint and put all sorts of touch up paint on it and all sorts of other crap and if looks literally horrible. Now for the pictures. I'm on my iPhone so I might have to wait till I get to my MacBook to post. I hope she's not totaled but at the same time who's to say she will ever be the same.

Somethings bent, the whole car looks tweaked. Id say take your insurance check and buy another one. That one will never drive the same again.

That car is totaled make sure you don't take less than 20k from the insurance company cuz they will try to to cut you a check for 16-18 print out a kbb statement of what the car was worth prior to accident and don't take less than 20

Wow... Just... Wow.
Being an experienced Florida rain driver...
If you're having that much problem with deep water, you have no business going fast enough to necessitate 3rd gear...
The last bout of horrible rain we had, a friend hydrolocked his motor on his Mazda 6. Those cars are only worth about $7-10k... Insurance opted to put a new motor in instead of totaling it out... New motors are $5-7k for those cars...
Good luck man.
If you do end up selling it, hook a brother up with the nav/changer and a drivers side headlight for my girlfriends '07

not trying to be a debbie downer,
you absolutely do have a bent frame. on a car(unibody) the roof, pillars, floorpan, rockers, aprons, quarter etc, are all part of the frame. It would take an incredible amount of stretching, cutting and welding to fix that car....If its not totalled(somehow) and you get it repaired, be prepared to have a car that is worth significantly less than before the accident even without a salvage title.
Most insurance companies will give you wholesale replacement cost, which does not include dealer markup and taxes, more like what you could buy it for at an auction. They may also make deductions to the basic value based on your vehicle's condition(damage, wear etc). Hopefully they dont give you a hard time about driving around with bald tires in the rain.
Good luck with it!

Probably will be totaled. But can be fixed fairly easy with outer skin & roof panel. Have drove one that was in worse shape than that. Aligned easy & drives great. Just need to do your homework on who fixes it. A good frame guy can be hard to find.
