Default Heads

I would talk to sittingmoose about upgraded heads. I kept my stock heads and did a light port, valves reset and shaved .001

That is probably the biggest cam anyone has put in an LS4... care to share the specs from the cam card?

I would stick with 2.00"/1.55" The 3.78" bore is very small and bigger valves cause shrouding problems.
You might wanna consider CNC ported 243's

I'm a big fan of smaller intake runner port volumes. Anything past 230cc is a little big for a 5.3 mild cam buld that will spin to 7000 RPM. The heads you have listed our 237cc.
Without knowing the spec's of the cam I'm going to say it's way to big for a street driven 5.3 that has to push 3800 lb car around with 2.93 gears.
