Guy in ocean springs mod mafia performance, I wanted higher but 102 air temps and stock intake weren't helping

I put down 385rwhp and 377tq with stock heads and no udp but with an ls6 intake. But mine was def not tuned on in such hot day like yours. How are you liking the cam? I love mine

what year is your car? a 228 cam with 243 heads is usually good for over 400whp on a dynojet. You dont have lt's and possibly no ls6intake but still that looks low.

It was 102 degrees..... And I set my redline at 6. I can get more out of it, but we kept it conservative. Ls1 intake is killing me. A/f was 12.95 through the whole range, my fuel mileage is better, and it feels really stout.

shouldn't the hp peak over the torque with this cam, or is it the intake restriction you guys think is holding it back that much?

I'd say stock intake and heads are the restriction, I put down 390whp on a 224r cam with LS6 heads. Mustang Dyno.

much easier to change an intake down the road than to add heads. good move. nice solid foundation to work off of when the extra cash comes up as well.
