Hey guys today I rolled my window down and when I got home I tried to roll it back up and no luck. I don't think the window motor went out since I can hear the motor try to run. It feels to me that the window is off the track because I can not pull the window up manually. About a month or so I locked my car keys in my car and had someone open it up. Could that have something to do with it? I am completely lost on how to fix this problem. Please help.

do u hear the motor working when u are rolling the window up ? I had the same problem I could roll my window down but not up it was the window switch.

Could be a broken regulator or (if it has them) guide/s. Whatever it is, you'll need to open it up to fix the problem... considering you can hear the motor.

You need to take off the door panel. If your motor is indeed running, it's usually the motor coming unbolted from the regulator.

I read some craziness that the body control module causes the windows not to work. Could this be the OP issue?

Speaking of BCM, that thing is scary! If it goes out, it seems that NOTHING will work.
