Default Corsa Tips rotating... :(

I have the 3.5" quad tips setup. The passenger side tips keep walking out and rotating around the pipe out of the muffler. Those babies are as tight as can be, but I can push down on the inner or outter tip and rotate them in that direction. They will also do it after driving the car anywhere around 25+ miles. Anyone else experienced this problem? I can't believe the cam shake would cause this. I thinking something is up with the clamp. Do you all think Corsa would replace it under their lifetime warranty?

Take it to an exhaust shop and have them spot weld it. Shouldn't cost more than $30

I would just tack em on. Its not a sealing area, just enough to keep it from turning. You really just need a small tack.

Spot welded mine. If nothing else it will keep them from walking or walking away in someone else's hands. I wouldn't be pushing down on them either.

good luck with it.

dump your exhaust at the muffler and hard-mount them to your bumper. No moving, rotating, etc and they never get dirty

I think I found out that tight wasn't tight enough! Lost one of my corsa tips on the motorway doing about 90mph & It just flew off & went bouncing away trailing sparks everywhere! went back & recovered it from the side of the road and it was trashed, luckily corsa sent me a replacement.
But yeah! They don't move now! those brackets take a lot of torque so just pretend the bracket is Justin biebers neck(which really shouldn't take much effort) & go for it.
