Lonnies Dual intank and fuel pressure question
I have seen a lot of post about boost referenced FPR over in the FI section. I hope I didn't miss out an important detail on my build. I have a Procharger D1SC set up and am using the Lonnies dual intanke set up. Is the hobbs switch serve the same purpose of a boost referenced fpr, except it doesnt do any regulating obviously?
Did I miss out on an important detail or is Lonnies dual intank with the hobbs connected to a boost/vaccum source all I need for my D1SC set up?

The hobbs switch turns on the other fuel pump. Usually at 4-5# of boost or above. One fuel pump runs all the time. And one is turned on under boost. Your car runs at 58psi fuel pressure. A boost referenced fpr will raise your fuel pressure 1psi for every 1psi of boost. The fuel is having to fight the pressure in the motor when it is in boost. So increasing the fuel pressure helps get the fuel actually in the motor. 10#'s of boost would equal 68#'s of fuel pressure with the FPR.

Typically under 700rwhp, you are good with the standard fuel system.
Above this level you should consider a boost referenced regulator to better control the pressure at higher boost levels.
The hobbs switch only turns on the second pump. It does not control pressure.
