Street Racing & Kill Stories - 01 Mustang GT Vs 98 Camaro Z28

My Friend has a black mustang and was always bragging to everyone at school about how he could smoke my Z28 in a race but every time i challenged him he would make some kind of excuse and walk away. Last Friday he finally accepted and the race wasnt pretty lol. It was from a 20 mph roll because he didnt want to from a dig. So we only raced once because he didnt want to no more. The almighty LS1 tames another pony lol.

Its not that mustangs are lame some of them are nice cars and sound awesome but in my OPINION its 2 things.....

1= They are fucking everywhere. Literally leave my house and go 5 miles to the gym and ive seen 15 mustangs its fucking ridiculous.



2= The typical mustang driver thinks that they are the fastest fucking thing in the state when a stock ls1 blows away just about every mustang besides the termi and the new ones.

They were trying to set up a race and I stepped up. At the time I had nitrous making 540rwhp and they acted like I was gonna get raped, even though I explained my setup. Needless to say they were surprised with the outcome, lol.

Yea i agree some guys do tend to be more cocky than others. I may just think guys with stangs are cocky because of the area I live just about everyone here owns a mustang it seems like and they are automatically the fastest thing ever.

Yeah i do but nothing serious yet mainly because money is tight and gas prices are making me thier bitch lol but i have intake, headers, 3.73, xpipe and thats about it.im still trying to decide what i should get next.

Well this car has always been my daily driver and i notice any little change in it but yeah i remember when i first got the 373's it felt way better cuz a4's come stock with some terrible gears stock and i have no idea how much hp i have lol i plan on taking it though sometime

Agreed. There are almost as many 5th gen Camaros around as Mustangs these days.

But it's still rare to see 4th gen cars in comparison. I'm more likely to see a 99-04 cobra than a v8 4th gen on any given day of the week.

Where i live you see very few f-body's let alone nice one's, really i do not see very many nice mustang's either. Maybe i'm just picky or don't get out enough anyway back to the original subject, some people need to learn the hard way good kill OP.

He should have pulled us.. The owner was riding passenger and his buddy was driving, same for us in the g.
I got the jump on each race and he wasn't shifting too good... I got him by about a car and a half maybe two cars.. At about 110 he was ever so slowly itching back up. It would have took him 130 to pass us.

They are low-mid 100mph cars.. g is really high ninety. Put a shitty driver in it with me getting the jump and exactly what happened is correct.

Dodge boys are hard core. I know a few of them and there SRT8's. They swear they are faster then all us chevy and ford guys. 5th gens and 5.0s. Yet none them will come to track or street. I have called a few of them out when they was talking shit. In front of every one with my G8 and my stang. And still none them stepped up. One guy actaully showed at track. Heard one his friends say My G8 just ran a low 12 and he backed out in his charger SRT8 with bolt ons.
