Default Special thanks to all you guys!!!

Lemons12; 02SomZ28; Garygnu; Ibanez7; 99Blue98; Mark21742; UltimateorangeSS; SSCamaro02LS1; SheikSS; Wssick; Shorty(98TA); MikeWS6...

This was a crash course learned on how to get the most out of my Trans Am.
Theory and hands on is clearly like night and day.
Thanks to your info, links, advice, and recommendations. I feel 100% sure on what which direction to take, and choose over my small 206/112 cam and set up.
Yes i took the time to go through all my threads and see who truely had good intensions for my Mod's. Least i could do, since you all took the time and shared the knowledge.

I will be sure to post the results as soon as my T/A is ready...

I wont dissapoint.

Take Care you guys, I will be back soon to ask a Million questions as usual

I think I was looking at the wrong cam when I tried to search summit racing for the part numbers

I would still give TSP a call and have them put together a package for you. Get it done right the first time.

Did you get a ported LS6 oil pump and atleast a LS2 timing chain to put on when you have your motor tore apart? Texas speed carries both NO sense in not upgrading these parts while your doing the cam. Alot of guys including me will call these required items for a cam swap

Agreed. IMO, It's worth it to replace the stock stuff while it's torn apart.

My Friend just bought an 04 cobra yesterday, says it's stockish. That will be the first race vid I post when all is said and done.

And of course i listen to the advice!!! I also went over budget, might get my water turned off, lol... JK

I dont think im going to race him Until i get the 3600 stall im looking for. He might take me, with my stock converter. But then again, he may not...

I thought the cheapest one was a stock replacement, I could be wrong though.

With that cam and a good tune with a 3600 converter if he just has something like Cai and exhaust it will be a very good race.. I would give you the edge if the race starts less than 40mph. Longer the race goes the more he has a chance to pull you.

Get that exhaust ironed out and it will take him a pulley to come around you.

Fwiw lastofthebreed, it takes a cobra around 60-70 more rwhp than an fbody for it to pull it. Less than 50 cobra will get pulled... In most cases, that's just a general guideline.

I think I will be in range HP wise... 370 would be nice to see, and know where my investment went.

This is performance thing is so addictive!!!

Haha.. You have just got started. Wait until you ponder dropping 1,500$ for 10-12rwhp..... And go through with it.... and be happy with it!!!
It's addictive... But worth it!

If I were you after the converter I would be looking into a nice nitrous setup. Roughly 800$ and you gain 150rwhp and 200+rwtq..... aka your car is making 500+rwhp/550+rwtq!!

I dont think I ever saw you reply.. who is tuning the car after the cam swap?

Why the shorty headers? but either way the combo will run well and think you will get a 11 sec pass. with the stall you it will be a good run with a cobra. On the street from a dig think you should get him.

I was reading over many of your posts and questions. You got a lot of good support and advice ( especially from Lemons12. ) Good bunch of guys on here, its damn nice to see that they take time to help rather than let you sink yourself...and your wallet.

Good luck man. No thanks needed here as I didn't do much, but I do appreciate it.
