Default Tire Pressure Monitoring System

I think mine is messed up. It will tell me to check R Frnt tire. But when I push the button on the dash to see what that says where the pressure is at, it reads 7....then up to...38....down to...25....goes off....back on...So just wondering if anyonhe else has had this issue. Will be calling the dealership since it is still under warranty.

I had a similiar issue but whenever the valve got wet aka rained outside id instantly get a low pressure followed by your issue. Changing the sensor fixed it.

Welcome to the forums ...

Unfortunately we all had problems like this 5 years ago, and everything was discussed back then.

Now it seems like there are more reposts than news here.

If you have a Discount Tire near you, take it to them. They will "scan" each of the sensors to see if there is a bad one or just reset the system for you. It only takes a couple of minutes and it should/will be free.

I sprayed Wd40 on my valve stem then capped them. I haven't had a false low pressure alert in 2 years.
