the gxp shuts down at 140 but not for long needs to go ran into it more than once

Tuned? I've gone just over 235km but the guy that tuned my car said the stock internals can't handle much higher speeds then that so Ive never done it again lol

the engine can handle it, i wouldnt worry. its not like you do it every day. well y gxp stops dead at 140 and i know people who have gone well over that stock

ive done 135mph , just let off didnt hit the limiter. i dont have a limiter anymore. Im just not into going fast like that anymore on the public roads now that i have a daughter. ive hit 140 mph in my 94 impala SS when i was young and dumb lol it was at night.

around 137 didnt hit the limiter just backed out of it. definitely had more left though.

I hit 153mph without the governor kicking in (before my tune). No way to tell how much faster I could have gone. That was too dangerous as it was.

That's what I was thinking, turbo or not. Maybe 175-180 with forced induction, with a lot of room.

i was racing a neon srt4 and i topped out at 140. I had it to the floor for a good 10 seconds at 140 it wouldnt go any further, but she still had plenty more. It was 2am in the morning on I75 on my way back from downtown Detroit not one other car on the road.

got up to 184mph on my GSXR.....i know i know it was dangerous but, i was racing a viper loll.

Ive been over 150 in my SScamaro but Im not sure if it has been changed up or even has a limiter on it.

I may or may not have hit 150 on a wide open area with little to no traffic, just happened to be a 335i behind me, possibly.

think about 140 mph, seems about right..was racing another 2007 ss impala on interstate # 81 in pa... we could not pull away or gain on each other ! now the zo6 only had to 165 mph, 4th /two gears to go ! this was at meet/ local corvette club held at pocono, track..was down main straightway..its very hard to get on zo6 on the street, without getting in trouble , asap !! rkvette

My Imp was buried at 140 for about ten seconds then a message came on the screen and said electronic top speed limiter or somthing so who knows how fast i really was the speedo in the imp only goes to 140
