Default drop it like its hot (lowered V)

Cut 1 1/4 off front coils and 1 1/2 off back. Used MM spacer. Running 275s out back with a lil rubbage. Nothing major and the lip is rolled

Rides a Lil stiffer but not bad at all. Fronts a little bouncy which I don't like but can live with.

Never trimmed the front bump stop. Pretty sure its hitting. Just rides like a typical cut spring. LOL.

I would luv to go lower. Might sell the 275s And put the 245s out back and go with some 225s in front. Maybe go a Lil lower then. : )

Good luck with that, OP. I only say that because some things are worth doing right the first time. Oh, and your bouncing because you changed the spring rates and I bet their cut to an open position, not ground closed like springs need to be.

I've cut springs and heated springs with no issues like u show. Not saying That it wont happen this time but I realize its the "wrong" way. Its not a permanent thing And they dont make a spring for the height I want. And coil overs are out of my budget at the moment. But hopefully nothing like u posted happens. I know it can.

The height of your car in the pics posted above is damn near identical to the ride height of the H&R springs.... Just sayin..

H&R are close but I'm going lower as soon as I sell the 275s. Or just end up going with h&r cuz there is no way I'm tracking my car with the current springs. Hahah.

nice job jj. looks to me like you did it the right way i agree you may be bumping the stop, but it will surely be oversprung compared to stock.. no more oversprung than any other name brand stiffer lowering spring .... lots cheaper tho!

I'm not a fan of cutting springs either, but you did achieve the perfect height IMO!

I recently installed H&R springs and MM spacers on my V, and it's lower than what you've got there... In the rear for sure. If you're uncomfortable cutting more spring, and you're cool spending $250, I think you'd be happy with the h&r drop.

Also related to your post, I just put Linea corse Venettos on my car today with 275/35-19 tires out back. Unfortunately they're rubbing on the fenders with big dips in the road and also rubbing on the passenger side rear trailing arm on left hand turns. So I've got some work to do to fix that. Any suggestions?
