Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - how good are the bbc dimple rods with 7/16 bolts

Im thinking about changing from a cast crank to steel and forged pistons I have dimple rods now I've heard of people saying these were 4340 from gm anyone no actually how good they are

With new ARP bolts, they should support up to 700 hp. Oh yea, and polish the beams.

I no a guy that has a pulling truck and he spins it at 8000 he says he has them and he says he has like 900 horsepower.

The LS6s use these rods and I have read in HRM that those bottom ends are good for 900 hp. I couldn't tell you an exact issue but if they are publishing 900 then you might get away with a little more.

With those rods u have to be careful and checkout the pin end. You'll notice that the metal doesn't haven't equal thickness surrounding the pin hole. You'll see this all too often.

I have a set of used 6.135 Eagles and a set of Lunati 6.135 pro mod rods if u need.
