Default Narrowed it down to 2

After doing even more searches Iv'e narrowed it down to one of the two problems. I either have a bad lifter or an exhaust leak. My question is: will a bad lifter hurt my performance or rob horsepower? I have also heard things about "Lucas Oil Stabilizer", will this maybe cure the problem? thanx in advance.

Do a cylinder leak down that will tell if you have a exaust leak. And for your second question if a lifter is bleeding down or colasped yes i will rob power how much all depends on how bad.If it is a lifter problem maybe it's time for some comp r lifters.
