06 monte carlo ac issue

Default 06 monte carlo ac issue
when my car is moving, the air works fine and compressor stays on. when i come to a complete stop, or have to slow down, the air compressor shuts off or blows hot air. what could possibly be causing this?

which electric fan? the blower or radiator fan?

I'm thinking your Freon level is low. That is why the compressor shuts off at idle. Not enough pressure in the system.

Radiator fan, or low on Freon. I had a problem with the fan the other day, and when I came to a stop the ac would go warm.
