As far as a slave goes, stock works. There really arent too many options for it. As far as the master, the stock master may work with the clutch but I am sure someone will chime in and reccommend the tick. I have the tick and its like a whole new car, not one problem so far. I used to have problems getting into reverse and first and downshifting, they are all gone now. I can also power shift at high rpm's with no problems getting into gear.

I have an advance auto one, they're notorious for leaking. and seeing how much clutch exploded into a million pieces after 5k easy miles I wouldn't buy anything clutch related from them.

creeper, do not even dare to get me started on my pos advance slave that costed me a night of hell in oc md, a tow bill, and a 500 dollar tech bill......too late I'm goin.......brand new ls7 clutch installed by gm with a new advance save......500 miles later near 126th street in oc, clutch sinks to the floor in the middle of 3 lanes....at 11 at night in june. gets towed to a little shop, he says the line flew off the slave...wen it did, the steel line got punctured. the line is only available with a new gm master.....neitger auto or advances came with the line.....so there's 275 there......wat I don't get is how the line blew off, and then was able to reconnect again. 10000 miles later and no issues......I didmt even try the new clutch out yet.....if the ine was connected right, the car woudnt have made it 1 mile....I'm still stumped to this day....

Our slaves are GM slaves that we get directly from the manufacturer, cutting out the middle man and passing the savings on to the customer.

In addition to Floorman279's experience, I had the same thing with an AC Delco slave. Avoid at all costs. Its a POS and leaked on me out of the box.

The GM design (different from the Delco) is superior. Other posts mention that the Autozone slave is the same design for less.
