Default Power Window Problem

I just put a new window motor in my 99 Trans Am. The motor itself works fine. The problem is that when I roll the window all the way down, it won't go back up. The motor doesn't even make any noise when I hit the switch. The weird thing is that the window will go back up if it hasn't been rolled all the way down. Even if it's only a c#nt hair away from being all the way down, it will go back up. Anyone had this problem before?

Your motor is bad. Very common.

Either:
- Someone returned a bad motor to the parts store and they turned around and sold it to you.
- You purchased a dud reman motor. (Your issue is with the thermal cutoff switch which some remans reuse - not a good thing.)

If you go with a Dorman design motor, you shouldn't have any issues. Its 100% new and an upgraded design.
