Default Short Shifter - Random Harness Disconnected by Factory?

Hey,

Doing the short-throw shifter installation today and found this when I removed the shifter boot and foam sound installation. Anyone know what this harness is, and why it's disconnected? I doubt that GM would ship a car like this.

If you find the harness it connects to, it disables wheelhop

Believe it or not, engineers and number crunching accountants decided a long time ago, that it was easier to make one harness for ALL cars, which included connections/hookups for all accesories/features, no matter what package car you order.

So obviously the owner of your car chose NOT to order the taint massagers that my PO checked off on the build sheet.
