Default Just arrived to Cocoa Beach FL, Patrick AFB, Need Alignment and tune FAST!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys most know that I was headed to florida although my issue is before I left I could not get my car aligned or tuned cause my car is to low. Well my exhaust is to low to get on my local shops in MO to get up on the machine. I have LT headers into an x-pipe to dynomax race bullet mufflers dumped. The exhaust is low however I would have to think that there has to be some one out there that can align this damn car. Am I gonna have to run open headers! Also I have BMR upper and lower control arms on a BMR K member. The local shops say that they can only set stock settings. What is going to be needed on this? I have Strano shocks up front which lower it 1.5" in the front so would I be putting the alignment at stock settings. I was told different and tat it would cost me an *** load more because its not stock. I think the where blowing smoke. PLEASE anyone that is around Patrick AFB or Cocoa Beach pipe in and help me find the right people to get these little things figured out. I simple need to get an alignment and fine tune the tune I have now....... Thanks again steve

i'd call around and ask about shops with in ground alignment racks. the newer firestones should have them. can't really help on the tune though.

There is really nothing in the way of tuners this way in the Cocoa/Cocoa beach Area Miami has a good tuner everyone talks about that is big on the LS/LT motors Get a mail order tune that should be plenty good enough

I have a plenty good enough mail order tune as of now for sure the thing is I need an alignment after the whole front end swap. Problem is I cant get on a machine with the exhaust. I need an alignment for sure and that is my main concern for sure, I really just want to get it on a wind band and then get **** measured out for sure to where it needs to be, thought there would be alot more choices in FL

I thought about running open headers honestly. Not sure if the 2x6's will work for me. Everything clears but the exhaust. It's that damn brace that some of the machines have in the back that catches the exhaust. Cant have boards up on the platform because the tires need to move freely. As for the alignment should there be any difference in adjustments considering its all BMR or should it be like the stock settings. One shop told me it would cost an *** load because it's all aftermarket if they could have got it on there machine. I find this hard to believe because it's all pretty much the same except tubular and alot lighter.

its a pain in the *** to align aftermarket suspension. i have all UMI rod end suspension on my 96 and it took about an 1-2 hours. you just put the 2x6s on the ramps and youll clear the brace. a friend of mine has the same problem and thats how he gets up there (hes the one that does the alignments )

Google race car alignments in your area code.
I just put on UMI fully adj upper and lower A-arms and had the car corner balanced and aligned on friday. It was $90 for full front and rear(all tubular adjustable) alignment and $95 to corner balance the car plus a $5.50 shop fee. Total 190.5.

there are plenty of tune options for mail order...I did pcmforless. I'm in FL but on the other coast and I had a hard time finding a shop here. Ran me about $100 for front end allignment with tubular setup. You might want to consider the orlando area, its a quick drive. I used to live there and had allignments done on my lowered cars...there are tons of able shops there.
