Default New 255 walbaro fuel pump

My car doesn't rev past 2k without chugging horribly bad like having really bad fuel cut in a turbo car, does the car need to be tuned tp run normal with having this fuel pump? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does the car still have cat(s)?

Also, you might have better luck in an LS1-specific forum.

The car I'm talking about is a 97 lt1, and it no cats on it and I'm pretty sure it's not tuned for the cats being gone

Your answer was here ^

Also it would have helped if you gave more info on the car, as your sig does show a different vehicle, little things like that help I am sure you will find your problem by following the advice given above.

If you got a true walbro, most of the time you get a sock with it. I doubt you have a clogging issue, but it should have a sock filter on it. Check out Racetronix's website.

On the end of the pump there should be a filter sock. If it's dirty it might starve the pump of fuel. Also check the hose on top of the pump...make sure its secure on the pump and it doesn't have any kinks or holes in it. Lastly it might be a good idea to check the fuel pressure while driving to see if the pressure drops.
