Default A little over heating problem!!

Ok just built my engine this winter and finally got the car put back together and im having a over heating problem. I put a griffin 27.5 x 19 and 3'' thick radiatorin it, mezeire 55gpm electric WP and pluged all the extra ports(because i deleted the HVAC), It has a single 14" fan with shroud, and i changed the steam pipe to -4 braded hose and ran it to the top of the radiator. And another think is my stock temp gauge isnt working? but i have a autometer digitl gauge and its reading temps gettingup to 220-230, last year my car wouldnt get over 190. I tried a 180, 160, and NO thermostat with the same results. Any ideas would be great!! i attached som photos of my radiator setup, maybe someone could spot some flaws in it? the pics have the the stock steam vent hose in it and now i have the braided hose, but its still running to the same place.

Thanks, Miles

I'm not convinced that tiny little fan has enough cooling capacity. The stock LT1 fans are beast - they can move far more air than just about any single fan.

I agree with the above posts, and also is the fan a pusher or puller?

Its a puller. Its weird, i was expecting it to run a lot cooler with that radiator and electric WP.
