Default 4 point STB?

has any one heard of or is using the 4 point strut tower brace from LG motorsports? just ordered one, hopefully i will be getting it this weekend. and just wandering about fitment issues and effectiveness. oh ya and does anyone have any pics if you do have one?

what vehicle is this for?

I don't know why you would need a 4 point shock tower brace for a 4th gen f-body.

I'm not sure but i thought 3-4 point STB had issues with cracking windsheilds?? could be wrong, but im sure someone else will chime in

hope so, kinda worried about that my self, but LGM kept reassuring me that they've had no problems with there 3-4 point STB's

THis seems to be urban legend. I see this repeated, but no accounts of it happening

I don't think it would crack your winshield....in fact when I mounted my 3 point STB I didn't even bother connecting the third point. There is very thin sheetmetal up top there, not a strong structural point like on the other two. I suspect if there were actually any stress up there it would just tear.

Of course, I can't imagine how there could be much movement at the third point without something already cutting loose on one of the towers.

Well if that mounting point on cowl is thin, windshields can stress crack pretty easy so i bet it could happen but i have never heard of it either.
