fog lights
I have a 94 formula that I would like to install the T-A factory fog lights/T-A bumper cover. I was hoping the body harness was the same as the trans am and I could just plug them in... but no. My question is what wires by the headlights do I splice into and also by the switch. I have a factory fog light switch. I need the colors of the wires that I need to splice into. thank you

fog lights
Wired the lights together and ran it to the fog light fuse . The interior connections were already there for the fog light switch. Just plugged in. They work fine, just won't shut off. That leads me to my BIG problem ... the relay. I would really like not to hack everything up. I need some help setting up the relay. Help!?

get a test light and test them.
if you dont want to mess with the factory wiring then put in your own relay, power it (inline fused), ground it and run your 12v out for the lights. last wire goes to your switch. use a three prong switch with 1 wire to the relay, 1 ground and 1 from ignition live (i believe theres a pigtail tucked under the passenger side of the centre console). centre prong of the relay does not need to be used. look up "relay diagram"
i know all this isn't ideal but if your worried about tieing into the wrong wires its a pretty failsafe idea

In my 94 Formula i had the fog light harness in the car from the factory i just plugged mine in when i did the t/a front end conversion. I put a t/a dash bezel on my car so i had the fog light switch and the only problem is that they will only turn on when the headlights are on. Do i have to splice any wires on mine to be able to run the fogs without having the headlights up?

fogs
My front body wiring harness was not set up for fog lights. the relay is blank as well as the fuse. Aparently the interior wiring harness is prewired for fogs though. You were fortunate that your car was wired already. I don't know what you have to do, Me and electricity don't mix.

fog lights
black bird. is that a question? I am sorry but I have enough questions myself. no offense please. It is going to my mechanic today for a running issue and he will address the relay for the fogs. My purpose was to install factory options and make it look factory. Thanks guys.
