Default 05 cts-v cooling fans speed?

I have an 05 cts-v, was wondering if the fans have a constant speed or if they have a high and low setting, mine seem to only run on a slow speed and seems to heat up when stopped. Thanks for any input!

I'm not sure if the fans have multiple speeds, but I think one may run and not the other... you can check the obvious stuff first... relays, fuses, and if a fan motor is frozen... with the ignition off just spin the blades to see if one is more resistant than the other.

What kind of coolant temps u seeing? Simple way to check your fans for operation, turn the a/c on high, the fans should both turn on.

I've seen 225/226 plenty of times while sitting in traffic in my '05. The the fan(s) comes on and cools it off.

No, Both will run no matter.
There are LOW and HIGH settings.

These are easily changed in HPTuners... as well as the VCM controls allows instant toggling for troubleshooting.
