2.5" exhaust, 3" input mufflers. Issue?

2.5" exhaust, 3" input mufflers. Issue? So I have two borla xr1 mufflers I was planning on throwing on when I had my shop build me true duals, and a xpipe. Thing is they are made for 3" exhaust, and its going to be 2.5" true duals. Can the shop do something to fit them, maybe some sort of reducer or something? I'd rather not have to sell these and get new ones, especially since I don't even have a shipping address. Input/advise?

If they are any good it shouldn't be a big problem. If they say they can't do, then there lazy. It might be a good idea to 2 reducers 3" I.D to 2.5" O.D for the back side to connect to tailpipes, unless your just gonna run dumps. The front side can just be welded in, but 2 reducers 2.5" I.D to 3" O.D would make the install cleaner and easier.
