in the marines, yes. Navy has ribbons for it.The 2 lowest ribbons on that ribbon bar are expert rifle and sharpshooter pistol... Work on your pistol shooting and re-take the qual.

Ha! I knew more about the Navy than a Marine!
But seriously, it's because my Uncle is in the Navy now, and I made fun of him for it.......even though he tops his rack with a Silver Star and Purple heart from when he was in the Army.

Eff buying the blues, lol. I have to go drill anyway, so I'm getting that shit for FREE!!! I'm to that point with my rack that I don't want any more ribbons. It's annoying to buy more racks, ribbons, or appurtenances.

with us, its all about getting those expert badges...

yea the navy just wears ribbons instead of badges. the E is expert rifleman. the S is sharpshooter pistol.
and the pins are as straight as i can get them since the cheap ass backings are molded incorrectly.

IF the wedding is a ways off, check into ultrathin ribbons being made for yourself. They are extremely sharp! www.ultrathin.com if I have it right.
