Default Exhaust after Y-Pipe

I am getting Pacesetter LT Coated headers and the TSP Y-pipe. I am also planning on running a T-Rex cam. My question is, can I still use the stock exhaust that is after the y-pipe? IF yes, would there be a significant loss in power? Im just trying to save some money on this build if possible.

Your gonna get a hundred different opinions on what exhaust to get. I believe there is a sticky or something where you can hear a bunch of different exhaust clips. Only exhaust I know of that everyone says sucks is a "flowmaster". Personally I think it would be awesome to have the stock exhaust and do an electric cut out.

agreed, would be cool if someone was different and kept the stocker and did a cut-out, personally i have always wanted to hear the stock exhaust with LT's, curious what it sounds like

Retain the stock until you can afford to change it.
It's not gonna hurt it that much, ...

Watch for used systems in the For Sale ads & when you've got the money, ..., buy it.

I have this! Then I added an e-cutout...so I still had this! ... then my e-Cutout broke (open thank god!), so now it's just open cutout all day everyday!

Before the cutout or with it closed, it does sound noticeably different, deeper tone for sure, a little more "glug glug" sound, but without adding any volume.

Oh yeah, I forgot, at the bottom of my writeup I put youtube clips of before and after headers...and after cutout

I have LT's, ory, and stock cat-back. You can tell something else is on there because its got a deeper sound. Basically just a little louder at idle, but a wot its like waking a sleeping beast. Im in the market for a new muffler myself and was considering hooker or magnaflow since mine blew to pieces

I hate the stock tips on my car, but I like the stealthy/sleeper look of it. Its a love/hate relationship
