Default I was bored. . .

so I took my bottle that was scratched up and not so appealing... Looked similar to this. . .

Floor looked like this. . .

Bottle started to look like this...

This. . .

and finally like this. . .

Plan on topping off the neck in black tomorrow.

I left the stampings unblemished and now they look black in the red

Thoughts?

Looks good! Bottles are kinda fun cuz if you don't like it just redo it. I did mine a few weeks ago and even though mine is stuck in the spare tire location and no body but me and my filler guy will see it still looks good.

I'm not happy w/it yet... gonna scuff it and give it a white or silver base coat and redo the 'anodizing' spray.

Duplicolor makes a base coat specifically for use with that metalcast paint. Any reason why you didn't use it?

Will it still be able to be hydro tested with all the stuff removed?? I know for my paintball HPA tanks to be hydro tested, all the original number/stickers have to be intact and no paint present other than what came from the factory....

with that being said, the paint job does look pretty damn good though... lol
