Car doesnt run without tranny plugged in....why???? Ok motor runs great as soon as tranny plug is disconnected car dont even start anyone know why and also damn car dies when thrown in gear n seems like the trannies in lockup n dies wtf

I had what seems like the exact same problem. What trans are you running? Is it banging into gear or does it die and seem like electrical. Can you keep your foot on the gas and brake and shift it in gear and keep it running?

it will buck when pulld into gear then it just dies we actually installed a computer from a buddies 98 ta n car goes into gear with no issues now so pcm tune not good
