Default Porting the MAF cause tranny issues?

Ok so I ported my MAF and unscreened it but after knowing my error i got another stock housing and installed my stock maf into the stock housing, so not sure the time I ran it ported and without a screen may have messed up my MAF affecting my shift points?

This is what ANTICOP RAM AIR from ls1tech told me

"did you descreen or port your maf? if you are untuned and you port the maf ends it will give your tranny a false reading and cause it to shift shitty. if you have a programmer you can firm up the shift. This just increases the line pressure and will help you out.. Just a guess tho..."

Could it be that since I ran ported maf and unscreened for a while may have messed my maf up, I just changed the housing with a stock one and screen but never changed my MAF

UPDATE: I found this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...sion-help.html

Seems its bad to do the port on a maf and its worse than I thought
