Default Torque spec for torque arm to torque arm bracket bolts?

Whats the spec for those 2 bolts? I know the two that bolt to the rear are 100 ft/lbs. It is a bmr torque arm, but I assume all of them would be the same. Thanks

What bracket are you talking about the one that goes around the poll bushing and bolts to the transmission. I am assuming its a full length and not a short one.

If you are talking about the bracket that bolts to the transmission just get them tight but be careful with the top bolt that bolts into the tail shaft it is easy to strip out seeing as how the housing is aluminum.

talking about the rear braket. Not the bolts that attach to the rearend. The bolts that attach the rod ends of the torque arm to the rear bracket. I had to take it apart to modify the bracket and can't find a torque spec for them. Thanks

The torque fingures are in the Haynes repair manual. Do you still need them?

Actually the specs in the Haynes manual are for the bracket to rear housing bolts. The torque arm is an aftermarket piece and isnt in the manual. I am going to set it at 100 ft/lbs for now, but I would assume there must be a spec on it so that you don't bind the rod ends in the bracket. It's not like the bracket rotates on the rod ends except when you adjust the pinion angle, so I think 100ft/lbs will be fine. But if anyone knows the actual spec, I would like to write it down for the future. Thanks

It does give torque figures for the front bracket:

Torque Arm: Ft-lbs
At transmission
Nuts 30
Long bolts 37
Short bolt 20
At rear axle
Bolts 96
Nuts 97

Yes, those are all for a stock torque arm. On an aftermarket adjustable unit, the rear bracket is bolted to the tubular arm. Those two bolts are not part of the stock unit. That is why they are not listed in any manual. And my BMR installation sheet doesn't list a spec for those bolts. It only has the 2 housing bolts listed.
