Paint & Body Work - 1999 T/A got painted and new ws6 hood

well after my passenger side door got hit about 2 weeks ago i took it in to a local paint shop to get it fixed...after speaking with the owner i was convinced to respray the whole car...
the color is blue mica from toyota...i love the color and the shine in the sun...
for $1800 bucks i dont think it came out too bad considering insurance paid more than half of that...
I also got the ws6 hood from a craigslist ad for $300 scooped it up quick lol
i will have more pics tomorrow with a few of my cousins and brother all with lsx cars :)

what vehicles does that color come on? what color was your car before? the car looks great. its almost NBM with more "pop". ive been looking for something to do to NBM to make it pop more but this color might be better. it looks great.

lol its funny but i saw it on a prius lol...the t/a was pewter then a shade of blue that i didnt know...so when i tood it for paint i chose this and hoped for the best...luckily it came out pretty nice

yeah thats with a new door put in and hood lined up...he took the spoiler off also to get under it

lol a prius??? really??? i hate those damn cars and the drivers. lol. but the color looks great on your TA. i was hoping you would say your car was NBM lol. cuz if it was i wanted to see if the paint was close enough that you didnt need to jam the car. but after looking at the two colors side by side they look way different. your car looks great. i might steal the color lol.

So he fixed all previous dents scratches imperfections on the body, installed a new door, aligbed the hood, and prep and painted it for 1800$?

From what I know a car with little to no imperfections and a quality paint job is going to run 4-6k depending on color and location.

Did he sand/prep it or just spray over what was there?

I have a hard time believing you didn't even have rock chips on the front nose. If he didn't sand, you will still have an indentation where the chip was. I'm just trying to find out because I have a better In cp that might be interested in this depending on the quality of work for 1800.

yeah it was sanded and prepped obiously lol...im not trying to lie there would be no point to do so i dont work for the paint shop lol...its not a 100% perfect paint show quality but it looks badass to me...ill be in south carolina for fbody beach bash so if you want to see it in person lol
