Default 9" carnage......

well, i am a new member of the broken 9" group......

i bought the 3rd member used a couple months ago & installed it in my fab9 thats in my m6 2001 camaro.
35 spline & it had a spool with 456 gears,it came out of a 800rwhp 69 camaro with an automatic...

second pass at the track yesterday & boom at the starting line.......
the pinion sheared about half the teeth off of it & broke the strange aluminum case tooo.
i think the spool & pinion support are useable but thats about it....

pics to follow.......if i can find the camera.

If that is not a threw bolt case, you could have had some deflection going on. The strange nodular iron case is very nice.
