Default Reinstalling bucket w/o pump, installing inline but want tank level sender function.

Is there anything I need to do when reinstalling the bucket w/o the pump? Is it ok to leave the connector just hanging in there or should I terminate the ends with plugs?

All I want is the sender function to work.....

Thanks!

FWIW I have HPT I suppose I could just shut off power to the pump wiring?

you will be ok if there is no pump on it. Just pull the relay for the stock pump.

Thanks...

I have a Racetronix hot wire harness, which Im using to power the external pump.... which I believe taps into the pump wiring to feed the Racetronix relay... I wonder if pulling the front OEM relay will interupt feeding the Racetronix relay.
