So I am selling my 01 Z06 and will be getting a new Z. Does anyone have the extended warranty from GM with mods? ie: headers/tune. Do they still cover the engine after this? if not, is anything else voided warranty wise?

I am trying to decide between a stock one or a mildly modded one. I'd much prefer something stock with a full warranty but want to get some opinions before I pull the trigger. My logic behind this is that I am finishing up undergrad and don't have time to mess with fixing stuff that comes up if a warranty can take care of it. I have a beater but I'd like this car to be as trouble free as possible being that my time to mess with stuff is few and far between these days.


Also anyone have issues with their 06+ Z? things that I should look for? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Unless you are good friends with the service manager you will get the warranty cancelled. If you are going to mod the car with the warranty on it, then it will be a waste! Dealers are very picky!!!!
