Default when to upgrade valves?

when is it wise to upgrade intake and exhaust valves? Running stock ls2 243s with stock valves, patriot golds, 595/605 lift cam if that helps on a 370 with d1 at 15 lbs.

When the valve seats get pounded from rpm and spring pressure its good to
get a freshen up valvejob...however grinding the seats for the same size
valve sinks it a bit (raises the valve tip height) so new valves slightly larger
@ 2.02 or 2.05 (if 4 inch bore) helps the shop to set the valve height with
a fresh 45 degree seat. Also with your forced induction which elevates the
exhaust temperature perhaps sodium filled ls6 or genuine inconnel would
handle the abuse
