anyone know if the stock GTO **** fits on the hurst shifter?

Is the hurst shifter made for a gto if no then the answer is no. the camaro's use a screw on type of shift **** where the gto is a push on/off style

i believe it is the hurst for the gto

The easy way to tell is if its a threaded stick or not cuz the factory gto shift **** is not threaded

No it wont.

The hurst is a threaded stick, the factory **** is notched.
