Default Got a tune 351rwhp/363tq. full exhaust & lid.

‎I have a m6 02 camaro SS with Kooks 1 7/8 Long tubes. ORY. Lid. Baselined at 341/349. would over 410 be realistic with just an ms3? and im wondering if these numbers are good for only tuned with full exhaust and a lid. thanks

I think the numbers are right on target. I made 355/370 with full exhaust, lid, ported tb, and an aluminum flywheel. The ms3 is a good cam but to really get good numbers from it I would mill my heads and flycut my pistons.

355 is pretty good. i might do some small stuff to hit 360 but who knows. i plan on leaving my heads alone, but if i were to flycut my pistons would it make a big difference if i have the same mods i have now?

Whenever you have a bigger cam like the ms3 compression is your friend. Fly cutting is only needed if you mill the heads for compression. It won't make any power by itself. A .030 mill and a .040 thick gasket would get you over 11.0:1. Compression makes torque.

My first dyno reading when I was full exhaust 350rwhp 372rwtq; five years later in a different state and different dyno I added PP TB numbers jumped to 355rwhp 377rwtq. So your numbers seem to be about right to me.

Nice numbers op! Almost identical to my 01 SS with the same mods.

Please do yourself a favor and research cams before deciding you just want to go with the "biggest and baddest". You can make 400+ without a cam that large.

Almost identical numbers to mine. You should be able to hit 400 with just a cam. that's what i"m hoping for.

Nice numbers, once you have the chance to throw in the cam you'll see the numbers start to rise exponentially.

im not dead set on it yet but i love how they sound and they put down good numbers. ive always wanted a big cam, and an ms4 or anything that big would be too much $ lol.

You can make 224 cam sound like T-Rex .. Get it 110 lsa or lower the idle speed and pull some timing

My point that your car is making great tq with stock cam .. You need something smaller to improve hp/tq in every RPM if you will do it on stock heads and stock compression ratio since big cams on 346cid and stock heads are well-known to make lower tq than small-mid cams .. Just my .02
