Default 95 z28 lq9 th400 project

would like some info on putting my lq9 into 95 z28 will have th400 with ratchet shifter... need to know what i would need to do to bolt th400 to lq9 (what torque converter, tailshaft, drive shaft), what ratchet shifter would be best to fabricate into car. the motor will have MS4 cam, arp odds and ends, PS ceramic LTs, SLP LM II.. (thinking about P/P ls6 heads, and fast 102 intake but would like some advice on which heads to get and intake) car will probably not run on spray and would like it to be streetable any info would be greatly apprieciated

GM makes a crankshaft spacer & longer flexplate bolts. I think there is a special flexplate as well. You would use the TH400 covnverter. My .02, don't run the TH400 unless its a drag racer. OD is the way to go. I'd say 4L80 if it must be a slushbox...

Use the stock GM Flexplate, Spacer & Bolts from a 2500 Truck that is 2000-up..basically the 6.0l/4L80E setup without the extended Crank.
