Default Bad Plug/Oil Consumption

It took less than a year for the motor to do this to the plug....again. #5 cylinder. There is oil on the plug threads, and the motor slowly consumes oil. This is the only cylinder with this issue. Since the motor only has about 73k on it, is it possible its just a bad valve seal? Would a bad valve seal cause this much oil loss? When I pulled the plug, oil came out on my hand.

Default

It's not very likely an umbrella seal . What You need to do is perform a cylinder leak-down test . I would Google cylinder leak-down test for more info .
