Default stuck knock sensor!

Need help! I know this is not internal, but the front knock sensor is stuck in my ls1. It will turn, but its not coming out. All it does is spin freely and the actual bolt is not even moving. How can I fix this?

Is it just the very top turning, but not the sides?

Have you tried using a long flat tip screw driver and a hammer on the outer circumference of the KS body to try and loosen it up and remove it?

Yes, only the top is, but not the sides.
No I have not tried that, but will get to it asap. Thanks

Okay, I did it, but the only thing that came off was the ks. The bolt is still in there. How do I go about taking it out? Thanks.

Take the valley cover off so you'll have better access to it.

Hey man I got the bolt off. Taking the valley cover helped alot. After I did that took a bolt extractor and came right off. Now I can continue w/ the rest of work. Thanks alot again.

I had the same problem, took a chance with the air tools. I started spinning the sensor and tilted the air gun in slight dirctions and it started to spin right off.

threw a couple of sparks, but nothing went wrong...
