Default 6.0l swap issues

so i have done a six liter swap....now having problems....can't even crank the car buy the key it kicks a relay every time...but if i pull the starter relay and jump across the post with a wire the car will crank all day long...but i have no spark at all...everything else check outs... brand new crank sensor...maybe sercurity issues? any advice would be awesome...any ideas?

the block is an 01 so everything else is the same....the car is an 04 gto

the only thing that i can tell that is different is the oil pressure sensor which should not cause the car not to have spark

Check your coil packs, check all fuze's. If you can crank it manually then it sounds like a fuse or your coil packs. This happened to me before and it turned out to be an ign fuse blown

Sounds like a wiring issue then if its kicking the relay, and if you've already checked coils and fuze's then that's all that's left.

Yeah I dunno it'd pretty impossible to screw up the wiring

Jason, some guys on here have claimed that they put their coils back on the car on opposite sides and that their cars wouldn't start but, then others have said it doesn't matter which side they are on. Could be worth trying just to see if you get lucky and it fires.

this doesn't make any sense to me at all...no spark or injector palse?

No luck swapping the coils? I figured but just an idea/rumor on here iv heard from other members.

HEY!

check the small rectangle plug up by the driver headlight, make sure its plugged in, and report back.

If you arent sure which one im talking about, ill check it when i get home and take a pic, but their is a small plug up their

I know what your talking about comes from the main harness with the maf wiring....its plugged in no luck....I've been doing some reading and I think its the vats in the pcm....scanned it today with a scanner..4wd is broke...along with about 800 other codes kinda think I need a pcm reflash....

So your not using the gto pcm, but one from the truck? You need to use the gto pcm
