DBW( drive by wire) does not work
Howdy...Just finished the install of a 2005 gto ls2 t56 in my 77TA... Finally got it going today BUT i hvae zero DBW throttle resposne.... The original harness was reworked by a reputable company in Florida.. I am waiting to phone there tech line on Monday..
All connectors are hooked up.. I was told the rad fans had to be wired in to make it all work..They are and one even came on while car was idling.... The idling is rough cause I think the injectors are not opening properly..The motor has 10 k on it but sat for the last 5 years..............
I thibk if I can get some rpm on it it will help the injectors but I have ZERO response from the gas pedal and it is the original out of the car that all the stuff was pulled from... The pullout did NOT have the plug in wires for the gas pedal BUT the florida company said that is common and include a new one with there conversion...
Any ideas???????
Cheers

Hey, did you sort out your problem?
I have the same issues and I am just beginning to look into it.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks

The DBW pedal on some of the GTO's was no-good. GM has a new part for it now, but you can see if it's the pedal with this: http://kb.ls1gto.com/KB/article.aspx?id=10442
