Default Best spot for iat sensor?

I want to know what you guys think is the best spot for the iat sensor because i currently dont have a hole drilled for it. I realize the radiator causes some heat soak issues. I have a 104mm lid, tsp maf, nw 102mm tb. I can put it just about anywhere.

I tried a theory used by the manufacturer of the CAI on my wife's Challenger. He relocates the IAT as far as possible from the TB mouth because he believes that radiant heat coming out from the manifold caused inaccurate readings, Other makers also did the same. But I talking about a intake tube that has two 90 and on 45 degree turns.
So I tried relocating mine a little away from the Maf / TB mouths. I moved it from the intake tube to the lid which is in front of the radiator. HP tuner monitoring showed that it showed a little hotter #s at the new location. Here it was out of the direct air flow

Then I tried it inside my CAI duct, below the filter. Here it showed the same # as in the factory location
