Big thanks goes out to Tom at Speed Inc for taking care of me and making sure my car gets done right. Great guys over there.
Car is a M6 with a fresh trans.
Both dynos where done on Speed Incs Dynojet, about 10 months apart.
I gained 60rwhp and almost 35 ftlbs torque from these new mods, so I am very happy with the setup. I was dissapointed at the numbers it put down last year, and I couldn't pinpoint what the problem was. I think my ported 853 heads where the main thing that was holding back. At one point I thought maybe the cam was at fault after seeing some others with the same cam not happy with the numbers, but turns out the cam is fine with my current setup.
Previous mods where:
EPS 226/234 113
LS6 intake + stock MAF
Ported 853 heads with bigger valves
LPP headers with Magnaflow catback
Current mods:
EPS 226/234 113
FAST 102/102 ported by me.
Advanced Induction 243 heads, LS6 valves, 58cc
LPP headers , cut out was used
TSP 100MM maf
ATI underdrive crank pulley
The car feels much more responsive and is more fun to drive. It picked up a lot of power under the curve which is what I was going for.

That's a nice gain and serious power from a medium sized cam. Bet it's a blast to drive. Glad to see you found the key to your missing power without changing cams. Those AI heads are putting down excellent numbers for sure.

Man those AI heads work! Same EPS cam as Brennen01SS but 24hp and 40tq over the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads. I guess a little could be attributed to the FAST being ported and the heavier wheels, but damn that torque is way stronger. That's pretty close to apples to apples as far as set ups. Amazing considering the advertised flow between the two is so close, and even a little in favor of the PRC's. I might have to consider selling my PRC's and going with the AI's !!!

very nice man...quick question what was the PTVC...did you flycut...I know you are running a smaller cam but 58cc is pretty low...
great results from those AI heads, very sleeper too...

I think you will definitely pick up power with a better Y pipe. The tune seems spot on. The HP could be partially attributed to the FAST not being ported (10hp), Y pipe (10hp) and the heavy wheels (5-10hp), I also noticed the 100mm MAF, but the torque difference is pretty big tho. I mean that's a 40 tq difference from the same cam & heads that are basically the same size runner at 227 to 226, chamber size 61cc to 58cc, so close on compression and actually flow favors the PRC overall? Maybe the high mileage on the motor is loosing a little. Hopefully the Y pipe can boost you to at least 400 ftlb.

We did flycut the pistons last year. I dont remember how much was taken off..Speed Inc installed the heads on the car, so maybe they have the PTVC info.
AI told me PTVC should be no problem with this EPS cam so they recommended the 58cc.
I think the fact that these heads have stock sized valves is what helps with the PTVC.
