Default Water pump?

So I just finished my header install and while under the car I noticed the water pump seems to have antifreeze build up under neath it... It's not dropping but can anyone think of where it could be leaking?

^ that. id just replace it for the peace of mind. its fairly cheap and easy to replace. you dont want it to break on the highway or when your driving. it will cost double..

Well if it's going bad maybe I should look at an electric pump? How difficult are those to install?

I had a leak which I thought was the water pump, but after I notice nothing leaking from the center of the pump I found out it was the heater hose. Not sure if you know where those are located, but on the left side of the water pump are 2 small hoses. One of the hose was starting to rot and was causing the leak. I replaced with 2 hoses from that advance store for 30.00 beats the hell out of the GM hoses for 150.00.
