Default How did you get 500rwhp?

I'm working on my goal of 500rwhp, all motor. I don't want to think about turbos or superchargers.

I already have a FAST LS6 intake and 90mm throttle body and Texas Speed longtubes with 3" exhaust, so what cam, heads, and other misc. stuff would I need to reach my goal of 500whp? I have 335rwhp as of now.

I know all of what I'll probably need will not be all external engine, but I'm just looking for guidance on what to do.

Thanks for any advice!

read pat g's thread.....

its a combined effort of a big nasty cam, very nice aftermarket heads, and rpm....and money.

do yourself a favor and shoot for 430-450... theres a ton of people in this range and a few people on the stock bottom end around 470-480...with some money....

Thanks and yeah I know it's gonna take some money... Being a broke college kid doesn't help, either.
