Can anyone I.D. what's in this 3rd member please???
This was the 9" that was in my car when i bought it and previous owner drew a blank on what it had in it. I never heard any clunks so i'd say that rules out a locker and it's definitely not a spool.
Any help would be greatly appreciated so i can work on listing this.
Thanks!!

Mine had some sort of part numbers on it in the spot showing in the second picture, give it a twirl and you should see them. I think the numbers were a little hard to see like they were laser etched or printed and weren't very large.
I'm glad I bought it, mine has been very quiet the entire time I've banged on, uh I mean owned it. It acts a little like a spool only if the inside wheel is on sandy or slippery surfaces and the turn is really tight but otherwise you would never know it's there - until it's needed.
I've never had it unload and do the one-legger for any reason, including donuts.
