Default AIR/EGR/CAt delete ?'s

ordering BBK LT's w/ ORY (w/ new MM) tomorrow and just a couple quick ?'s

Removing AIR/EGR system will just throw codes not F anything up right?

Removing the cats -
-i need to extend the front o2's?
-What do i do with the rear o2 wiring? Does it disconnect?
-It just throw codes until i get them tuned out?

FYI i plan on welding high flow cats in down the road but $$$ is tight and will wait until emissions comes calling.

Thanks!

The codes are just letting you know they are not there anymore. It wont hurt anything. I followed the rear o2s back to another connector and unplugged it. Make sure you use antisieze on the header bolts.

I don't know about Maryland but here in Missouri I've been running without
cats for 8 years and passing the Missouri emissions test. Today the emissions
inspector looked under the car and failed me for no cats. I would run with
cats and rear 02's to save future headaches like I am having .

I haven't had cat's for years either, just go somewhere they don't look under the car, mine is so low you can't see and the older guys are too lazy to bend down and look anyway.

As for the EGR you will have to plug the hole in the intake. Other thank that yes you will get codes that wont hurt it. I even pulled my air pump out the only thing remaining is the plug it used to plug into.

you dont have EGR on an '01 so no worries there, the AIR wont effect anything other than a code for not working
